1. Biological Regulation Mechanism of Quality Deterioration and Senescence of Post-harvest Agricultural Products

By means of genomics, transcriptomics and metabolomics, exploring the quality characteristics of cold-chain logistics process of agricultural products as well as the change rules of endogenous enzyme activity, cell lipid oxidation and spoilage microorganisms,as well as the internal molecular mechanism to lay a theoretical foundation for the research and development of new preservation technology.

2. Research and Development of Fresh Agricultural Products Preservation and Cold-chain Logistics Quality Control Technology

Exploring the change rules of quality and organization structure of the cold-chain logistics process of fresh agricultural products; Studying the influence of environmental factors such as “light, temperature, atmosphere and humidity” on the decaying process of fresh agricultural products; Mining the key contributing factors of quality deterioration and creating energy-saving pre-cooling and fence sterilization technology to establish an efficient and practical precise preservation technology system in combination with physical, chemical and biological technology; Developing new technologies of pretreatment, quality maintenance and cold-chain logistics preservation.

3. Develop Key Facilities and Equipment for Cold-chain Logistics of Fresh Agricultural Products

Developing new energy-saving intelligent control facilities and equipment suitable for cold-chain logistics of modern agricultural products producing area, including cold-chain related equipment such as pre-cooling, sorting, packaging, transportation and other supporting equipment; Providing technique support for entities like family farms, farmer cooperatives, and rural collective economic organizations; Developing multi-functional, compound preservative film and bio-based preservative packaging materials and as well as preservative agents and environmental regulators supporting cold-chain logistics; Applying and promoting physical preservative equipment and supporting technologies (standards) to improve the circulation rate of cold-chain agricultural products and maintain its unique quality; Researching and developing the integrated acquisition technology, equipment and quality control system of agricultural product quality information - storage, transportation and marketing carrier environmental information-logistics operation information.
