International Cooperation:
In 2017, the lab invited Rajeev K. Varshney, academician of India Academy of Sciences, also the scholar from the International Crop Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics to visit and communicate. The cooperation intention for jointly applying research project and peanut genomic research was proposed; under the support of China's National Educational, Scientific, Cultural and Health Key Talent Introduction Project and Jiangsu Foreign Experts Program, the lab conducted four-year collaboration with Professor Marian Brestic from University of South Dakota. Currently, the lab is conducting research on the effects of nano-fertilizer, nano-metal and their oxides on stevia’s phenotype, metabolic pathways and glycoside content; through the JAAS funded overseas academic exchange, the lab has formed a continuous and good cooperation intention with the Joshua Yuan Laboratory and the Ping He Laboratory of the Texas A&M University, and the University of Florida.
