The Research Department of Agricultural Facility's Equipment was established in early 2015. At present, the number of members of agricultural facilities and equipment research laboratory has reached 15, including 1 researcher, 4 associate researchers and 4 assistant researchers. There are 5 people with doctor's degree, 1 student returned from overseas and 1 administrative staff assigned to the ministry of agriculture and village. Through continuous efforts and accumulation, the research office has achieved good results in scientific research output, foreign cooperation, social impact and so on. The per capita scientific research achievement score of the research lab has risen from the original 36th place to the 9th place, and won the title of advanced collective twice in 2014-2015 and 2016-2017, and won the top ten scientific research progress twice in 2016 and 2017.

In the aspects of research: research on " Facilities planting technology and equipment" discipline direction, have developed a fixed pipeline under normal temperature fog spray system, facility multi-functional compound rig, semi-automatic/automatic hole tray precise seeder, vegetable grafting plant machinery and equipment, cutting device, such as a variety of facilities vegetables fully mechanized production technology system is constructed.

Around the Orchard management technology and equipment discipline direction, developed a series of air assisted orchard sprayer, precision applying pesticide target spray system, automatic obstacle avoidance for copying the lawn mower, handheld electric thin flower, orchard trenching machinery and self-contained multi-function orchard work platform, formed the orchard and efficient standardization production technology system.

In terms of external cooperation, the research office and the business department of  Futian Revo heavy industry signed a cooperative research and development agreement on large-scale orchard air feeder sprayers. The high-end tractor-type orchard air feeder sprayers jointly developed by the two companies completed product promotion and identification in 2017, realized mass production, and entered the national agricultural machinery purchase subsidy catalog. At the same time, the laboratory to strengthen cooperation with foreign first-class research team, from Germany, Belgium and the United States a number of foreign experts to exchange for many times, and successfully signed a "china - Germany-Belgium - American" in the bric cooperation agreements, multilateral platform through the conference, project implementation and exchanging bases approved for many years, for the future Chinese and foreign academic exchanges and cooperation with multilateral laid a foundation.

In the initial equipment institute, the agricultural facilities and equipment research office plays the role of a pioneer. It has first achieved zero breakthrough in projects such as innovative capital projects, agricultural machinery three new projects, industrial standards, intelligence introduction projects, intelligence introduction bases and national key research and development plans. With the passage of time and the accumulation of scientific achievements, this young team will soon step up to a higher level of development.
