Representative results:
1. Developed the anti-sclerotinia germplasm Ning RS-1, bred an anti-sclerotinia canola variety. In 2012, the lab won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award.
2. Developed a new germplasm of brassica napus L., bred the first national approved brassica napus L. variety Ningyou No. 10. The lab won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2015.
3. Bred a strong waterlogging tolerance canola variety Ningza 1818, which preliminarily solved the problem of waterlogging damage in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. In 2017, the lab won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Hubei province.
