Approved by Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Philosophy and Social Sciences (JSFPSS), Jiangsu Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Research Base is one of the 26 decision-making consulting bases that provide decision consulting services for the provincial CPC Party committee and provincial people’s government. It offers the intellectual support for the economic and social development in Jiangsu. Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences (JAAS) took the lead in founding the Base and cooperates with the Rural Department, Research Office of the CPC Provincial Committee and the College of Economics and Management, China Agricultural University. The chief experts are Yi Zhongyi, President of JAAS, and Professor Shen Guiyin, academic leader of the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, JAAS,. The Base focuses on the research of Jiangsu agricultural science and technology innovation and takes the lead to materialize the synergy mechanism of agricultural modernization. By improving the research level of the base, it provides theoretical and practical basis for the decision-making of top-level administrations.
