Research Experience

Currently, my researches focus on understanding rice molecular basis of good eating quality including the analysis of starch physicochemical properties of good eating quality rice and the identification of new genes associated with starch related traits by DNA or RNA sequencing. I have searched different genotype of starch synthesis related genes that can affect starch properties by association mapping and are testing their utilization in high quality rice breeding by marker assisted selection.
