MOU Signed between the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at NCAT and the Institute of Food Processing at JAAS
On Dec 5, Dr. Shirley Hymon-Parker (Interim Dean), Dr. Valerie Giddings (Interim Associate Dean) and Dr. Jianmei Yu (Research Scientist) of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at North Carolina A&T State University of the United States visited JAAS and signed an MOU with the Institute of Food Processing. JAAS Vice President Prof. Xianjin Liu and Prof. Honghua Huan, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, attend the MOU Signing Ceremony, which was hosted by Prof. Chunquan Liu, Director of the Institute of Food Processing.
On behalf of JAAS, VP Prof. Liu extended a warm welcome to Dr. Shirley Hymon-Parker and the other delegation members, gave a general introduction to JAAS, the key research areas and the international exchanges and cooperation activities, and expressed that this visit by NCAT would promote the cooperation between NCAT and JAAS in the research area of food processing.
Dr. Parker and Prof. Chunquan Liu signed the MOU which aimed to deepen the bilateral cooperation in grant application, staff training and academic exchanges.
