Vice President Jin Zhengyu of Jiangnan University visited the Institute of Farm Product Processing on May 16, 2013 and gave a lecture on “The Status Quo and Trend of Fast Food”.
Prof. Jin Zhengyu, Director of National Key Laboratory of Food Science and Technology, has made remarkable achievements in the areas of functional carbohydrate and food processing technology, etc..
Prof. Jin Zhengyu proposed new ideas and insights of the development of fast food, especially frozen food. He also suggested that scientific research should follow mainstream food scientific development and cooperate with enterprises in Northern Jiangsu. After the lecture, both sides had a discussion on deepening mutual cooperation, and Prof. Jin answered all the questions from JAAS scientists.
