Dr. Lin Junhong of Taiwan Animal Technology Institute led a delegation of four to JAAS and gave a lecture on “Introduction to New Animal Vaccine Technology”. More than 50 scientists and graduate students attended the lecture, chaired by Deputy Director Shao Guoqing of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Lin Junhong has long been devoted to the research in the pathogenic mechanism of zoonotic bacteria and mycoplasma, and vaccine, adjuvant, and slaughter houses microbial monitoring, etc.. His research lab is the first swine mycoplasma pneumoniae research lab in Taiwan, which has successfully produced relevant vaccines.
Dr. Lin’s clear research thoughts, state-of-the-art research methods, and research design have given JAAS scientists new research directions.
After the lecture, Dr. Lin had an in-depth discussion with JAAS scientists on high efficient mycoplasma isolation and cultivation, SPF swine production, and evaluation of the immune effect of swine mycoplasma pneumoniae vaccine.
