Executive Director Jacob Mualem, R&D Deputy Director Shanan Harpaz and other two directors of Israeli Agricultural Research Organization (ARO) visited the Institute of Horticulture (IOH) on January 17. Both sides discussed about the latest research progress in grape breeding and cultivation techniques, as well as future cooperation.
ARO is one of the top agricultural technology research and development institutions affiliated to Israeli Ministry of Agriculture. Director Jacob Mualem first introduced the status quo of grape breeding in Israel and breeding objectives. Professor Zhao Mizhen of IOH introduced grape breeding in Jiangsu. In addition, both sides had an in-depth discussion on future cooperation which would definitely promote the development of Jiangsu grape industry.
