Dr. Wang Decheng of Fudan University was invited to give a presentation on the application of pathomorphological methods to biomedical research on June 3, 2011. The seminar was presided over by Deputy Director Zhao Yongqian of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and attended by over 50 scientists and graduate students from the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and the National Research Center of Veterinary Biologicals Engineering and Technology of JAAS.
Dr. Wang Decheng earned his PhD in basic veterinary sciences from China Agricultural University and now teaches in Fudan University. In his presentation, Dr. Wang introduced the application and achievements of pathomorphological methods to biomedical research based on his scientific research. He also held intensive discussions with JAAS scientists in the application of pathomorphological methods, which provided insights for JAAS future researches. Deputy Director Zhao Yongqian proposed that the scientists and technicians must integrate the research methods, strengthen inter-disciplinary communication, promote discipline combination and enhance JAAS research capabilities.
