The Institute of Veterinary Medicine: meeting held to discuss the research work progresses during the first half of 2011

 

The Institute of Veterinary Medicine (IVM) held a meeting to discuss their work progresses in the first half of 2011 on August 26, 2011. The meeting was chaired by Director He Kongwang, and attended by members of the IVM Academic Committee, scientists, technicians and graduate students.

 

During the meeting, the lab directors and research team leaders made separate work reports in the first half of 2011, spoke highly of the efforts done by the scientists and technicians and held an in-depth discussion on the existing problems. Meanwhile, they also presented work plans for the coming months, put forward advices and thoughts on discipline development, talent training and research team building.

 

After the work reports, Director He Kongwang expressed his own thoughts on the progress and existing problems. He stressed the construction of research atmosphere and talent reserve in the coming half of 2011 and hoped for more efforts and contributions from the scientists and technicians.
