JICE guests visited JAAS for cooperation

 
Accompanied by Secretary-general Hu Hai’ou from Jiangsu People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (JSPAFFC), Mr. Kenji YAMANA from General Office of Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) and Ms. OOKA Yukako, Beijing representative of JICE in China made an academic visit to JAAS on January 17, 2012. JAAS Vice President Chang Youhong chaired the reception, extended his warm welcome and introduced JAAS history and development. V.P Chang expressed his intent to strengthen communication and cooperation with JICE in technology and talent cultivation. JICE guests briefed the mission and function of their organization and announced that JICE had already been approved by State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, P. R. China to implement relevant cooperation projects in China. JSPAFFC Secretary-general Hu Hai’ou proposed that both sides list their interested cooperation areas based on the similarities of the two countries. Both sides held in-depth discussions on cooperation framework and on the visit of JAAS delegation to Japan in 2012. Director Gu Hongru of the Institute of Animal Husbandry and Director Fan Yongjian of Foreign Affairs Office attended the reception.
